FAQ: Prior to Interview Day

How do I sign up for an interview?

• You sign up for an interview slot through ERAS. 

• We are offering morning and afternoon sessions. Both sessions will be split into two groups; morning group (A) will run from 9:00am -10:00am EST, and then group (B) from 10:30am -11:30am EST. Afternoon group (C) will run from 1:00pm-2:00pm EST and group (D) from 2:30pm-3:30pm EST.

*You will be able to choose either a morning or afternoon session when signing up, but the group will be assigned to you when you receive your Zoom link.*

What are the Meet & Greet sessions, and do I have to attend them?

• The meet and greet sessions are completely optional for which you will receive a separate link to sign up.

FAQ: Interview Day 

How will I receive my interview links?

• You will receive your Zoom interview link via email no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. 

How many interviews will I have?

• You will have 2 interviews. One with the Program Director and another with a residency faculty or GME member.

How long will the interview session take?

• The interview session will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete. This includes a brief introduction, both interviews and a brief time for questions.

FAQ: Technological Issues

What do I do if I am having technological issues and am unable to join my Zoom Interview?

• We ask that you test your technology prior to the interview, but we understand there may be unforeseen issues. If you are having trouble, please contact the Program Coordinator at etilton@cayugamed.org immediately.
